Atlanta CEO Council Thinks Big in '07

Atlanta, GA (PRWeb) January 16, 2007 -- The Atlanta CEO Council, an exclusive organization for CXOs, today announced the exciting lineup of events planned for its members in 2007. Now in its eighth year, the Council has cemented its position as one of the city's premier executive networking venues.

According to a recent member survey, over 70 percent of CEO Council members say they have conducted business with a contact they met at a CEO Council event. Furthermore, more than half of the organization's members would prefer to attend a CEO Council event over another event hosted in the same day, and an additional 20 percent consider the CEO Council the premier organizer of events held for Atlanta executives.

"We're looking forward to having a banner year in 2007," said Ashish Mistry, president of the Atlanta CEO Council. "The positive feedback that we continue to receive regarding our events and our organization has provided a launching point to make this year our best to date."

The Council will kick off 2007 with its first CXO networking event, scheduled for Jan. 22. These popular gatherings take place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Buckhead and occur every six weeks throughout the year to provide C-Level and senior executives with a venue to network with peers, stay connected with local business trends, and develop valuable business relationships. One noteworthy change in this year's CXO events is that the start time has been changed to 6:00 p.m.

Feb. 13 marks the date of the Council's first CEO breakfast in 2007. These morning events, which cater to Atlanta's top CEOs, take place quarterly, and provide a more intimate venue for CEOs to network and absorb the insights of top-tier business leaders.

Planning has already begun for this year's ION Venture Forum, the CEO Council's signature venture capital showcase. The Forum is widely recognized as the leading event of its kind in the Southeast. Last year's Forum exceeded expectations by brining in more out-of-town venture capitalists than ever before to experience the Georgia technology community. Fifteen strong companies gave outstanding presentations at last year's event, and this year promises to bring more of Georgia's top early-stage technology companies before an audience of the nation's most prominent investors.
